Following your intuition is painful but it’s sweet

Everybody says, follow your intuition, do what your heart says, sometimes it’s better to ignore your mind but in reality, if you become a hardcore practical person, it’s far more easier not to listen to your gut.

There are many stories that now & then find their place in the air like that of Steve Jobs, he followed his gut, he went with his inner voice but life throws so much that it will be so cruel of you to ignore the reality.

Many people find themselves stuck at their crappy job for most part of their life, they struggle like a caged bird to break free but their circumstances far outweigh their intuitive fantasies.

Putting yourself in that person’s shoes and imagining faces of your family members in place of his, can you follow intuition? It’s simply not easy.

But on contrary, you have one life, make best out of it. Do the best, make people happy, make more money, have purpose, achieve short goals in your pursuit of the ultimate, have fun, enjoy every moment, visit as many places as possible etc. and if you don’t follow your gut, when would you?

So confusing and ironical at the same time. I know.

But people who listen to their inner voice are rebellion, they just refuse to budge to the status quo, they protest against the life difficulties & so called cruel circumstances, they somehow manage to break free yet don’t lose the sight of their present condition & they end up being the best in the process.

If you closely follow the life of great men who also refused to bend their knees against the odds like Nelson Mandella, Jobs, Gates etc. you will observe the same pattern. They weren’t born great.

They were born to ordinary families, initially did odd jobs to support them or their families, and weren’t interested in the formal (conventional) system. They carved their own path, had their own choice and today world follows their suit.

It’s pretty hard to pursue your passion. But if you truly want to live, do it. We have one life and if don’t make it perfect, you will be filled with self pity at the end.

I am still in the process of living my dream life still I am far from it but yes, slowly I have started to put few steps forward.

Let me know, what you feel about this.
