How to prepare for good omen?
I attended a live band performance for the first time last night. Though I have seen numerous performances live but having seen a band operate was like out of this world.
I was intrigued by their sheer professional approach. I came in & sat in the auditorium well before the stipulated time. All the band members were gathered there fine tuning their sound systems, their equipments & instruments. They were cross checking before the event.
OK, that’s the ritual. But in the hindsight they were preparing themselves emotionally & psychologically before the night. The ritual is just the part, there is more associated to it than just fine tuning systems.
It is so important to prepare yourself before the event. Those who prepare well in advance, sort of visualize the event before it. They repeat what they have to do, how they will do it & even they visualize the reaction of the crowd.
Amazing!!! You may argue that how would they know the reaction of the crowd? But they know the effect of their performance. They have the belief to cajole the crowd with their performance. Right!!
The drummer lead the group with the first beat. It triggered the whole band & singer started the performance. Similarly, you need the right omen to start your day. By omen I don’t mean god send signals, it is just the perfect triggers that motivate you to start your day on a high.
Like, you would want a bright smile from your daughter just to start your day. Though these small things don’t do wonders if you haven’t practiced well enough but they act as the perfect trigger to initiate something on a positive note.
Once these little things go right, your mind goes into auto gear & things more or less fall in place right without even striving for them.
All boils down to your habits & how you prepare for things that matter & how you trick your mind into achieving that level of performance?
Great performers in any field know these omens intentionally or unintentionally & thus everybody has a ritual before one starts the performance (your daily tasks or work is also a performance).
So, what is your good omen?
